OUR DRIVETRAIN PRODUCTS: WHY THEY'RE THE MOST EFFCIENT ON THE PLANET

Let's look at the constraints facing those producing reman units. First and foremost is unit cost. Since all are assumed by most to be "equal" in terms of construction and materials from the different vendors, the driving force is the cost. So the usual buying pattern is to call two or three vendors and see who has the lowest cost. And the lowest cost is usually the one that wins. Now in order to keep those costs down, the suppliers have some tough decisions to make.

First off, which parts are replaced? Gears are expensive, and when rebuilding a used unit, how is it decided which ones are no longer usable and which ones are deemed "acceptable"? At this point there's a powerful motivation to change as few as possible, right?

The next decision is where to source the replacements. Given that cheap imports can cost less than half that of the OEM gears, why would you use a $200.00 gear when a $100.00 gear will easily last the typical one-year warranty?

And what about the bearing rebuild kits? Are you going to use the Eaton kit that costs $480.00, or the import bearings that only cost $200.00? After all, when you get right down to it (regardless of what's said) nobody really knows what's used since you only see the outside of the assembled unit.

But to be fair, the majority of the suppliers are simply doing what's been asked of them, to simply build the cheapest units possible But we do things differently Since our aim is to built the finest units on the planet, cutting costs is not an option. If a gear is "marginal", it's replaced. And import parts are not part of our world, and never will be. OEM bearing kits are all we use and every unit has a signed construction log and each is run on a dedicated dyno system to insure the best results.

“WHEN IT COMES TO FUEL MILEAGE, I DON'T SPEND A DIME ON ANYTHING THAT DOESN'T GIVE ME A PAYBACK OF A YEAR OR LESS. AND IN MY OPERATION, MICROBLUE PRODUCTS HAVE DELIVERED EVERY TIME”.

THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW:

• Obtaining a transmission or differential is simple. You simply call us and place an order for the unit(s) you need. We then begin the assembly process, which typically takes five to seven days to complete. At that point, your order will be shipped to your installer, where they will simply swap them out and return the used units. There will be a core charge, which will promptly be refunded upon receipt of return.

• We only use OEM rebuilt kits and replacement parts. Aftermarket kits and parts are not and will never be part of our program.

• We do not work on customer supplied differential or transmission assemblies. This is for two reasons. One, we never know what we’re getting, therefore we cannot know in advance what parts will be needed. By starting a build when the order is placed, we avoid these problems and expedite delivery. Two, knowing what parts will be changed, we can easily have those on hand and avoid any last minute back order delays.

• Regarding lubrication requirements, we currently are recommending a standard 75/90 wt. synthetic in the rear differentials and a 50 wt. synthetic in the transmissions. READ MORE
